5 Manifesting Tips for Busy Moms to Live Your Dream Life | Francesca Amber (2025)

5 Essential Tips for Busy Moms to Manifest Their Dream Life

Every mom deserves to pursue her dreams, even amidst the chaos of raising children! Francesca Amber, the Sunday Times bestselling author of Manifest Like a Mother, understands the challenges of finding personal time while juggling the demands of motherhood. Surprisingly, she exemplifies the idea that dreams can become reality. As a single mother to three lovely daughters, Francesca has transformed her life after the upheaval of her marriage and professional struggles—all thanks to the power of manifestation.

I recently had the opportunity to chat with Francesca right after she concluded her UK book tour—an achievement she manifested into existence! Together, we explored how busy mothers can attract their ideal lives by seamlessly integrating manifesting into their daily routines. Below, Francesca shares her five most impactful tips to help moms like us tap into our potential.

1. Convert Household Chores into Meditative Moments

Forget the notion that you need absolute silence and a full hour alone to practice meditation. Francesca reveals that even the mundane tasks around the house can serve as a form of mindfulness. "I remember feeling frustrated when people spoke about self-care or meditation. I thought, 'I just don’t have the time! My mind is racing with chores!'

However, she discovered that engaging in physical tasks can be a way to meditate too. "When I realized that any hands-on activity demanding physical energy, when done mindfully, could become a meditation, it was a revelation! I could meditate while washing the dishes, folding laundry, or loading the dishwasher."

Francesca encourages us to redefine chores as opportunities for "cognitive rest." This shift allows us to carve out moments for clarity and creativity in our busy lives. To make the most of this practice, it’s crucial to set down your phone, turn off distractions like music or podcasts, and fully engage with the task at hand. You may be surprised by the influx of innovative ideas that emerge when you give yourself the space to think. "You’ll discover countless creative solutions!" she assures.

2. Purposeful Decluttering

Clutter can overwhelm not just your living space but also your mental and emotional energy. Francesca shares, "Before my book tour, I took the time to declutter my entire house. However, my motivation wasn’t merely to tidy up; it was much deeper. I was preparing to be a Sunday Times bestselling author this summer, so I wanted everything neat and organized to handle the busy time ahead."

She points out that excess clutter can actually elevate stress levels, impacting your overall vibrations and mindset. "Waking up to a tidy home gives you a sense of control and clarity, allowing you to think about your daily goals. Conversely, if I wake up surrounded by dirty laundry and mess, it’s hard to focus on my aspirations because I’m distracted by the chaos!"

3. Nurturing Your Future Self

One of the most impactful aspects of manifesting, according to Francesca, is caring for your "future self." "Envision the person you wish to become and act in the present to support that vision," she suggests. "Each Sunday night, I plot out my week with the aim of easing the workload for future me. This self-love turns into an act of kindness for myself."

Whether it's leaving painkillers and a glass of water by your bedside after a night out or making significant investments like getting Invisalign for future TV appearances, Francesca sees these actions as gifts to herself. "I picture myself as my fourth daughter when I do this; I’d move mountains to make their lives easier, so why not do the same for me? The more I care for my future self, the more I open myself up to manifesting great things—because I deserve it!"

4. Dress for the Life You Envision

The clothing you choose can communicate powerful messages both to the universe and to yourself about the life you're trying to create. Francesca emphasizes, "When I dress with intention for the life I desire, I project the version of myself that I aspire to be. It’s about embodying that identity in the present."

This doesn’t mean you have to wear an elaborate outfit every day. "On weekends, I often go makeup-free and relax in comfy clothes at home. Does that hinder my ability to manifest? No, not at all. But many moms tend to let this casual approach seep into our public appearances, sometimes even wearing unremarkable outfits to important events. When you present yourself as your future self, it’s incredibly powerful and sends a clear message to the universe that your dreams are imminent."

5. Visualize the Emotion, not the Mechanics

When you find yourself lost in the myriad of details on how to achieve your goals, Francesca encourages focusing more on how you want to feel rather than fixating on the steps to get there. "If the specifics aren’t clear, think about a particular scene—maybe a birthday celebration in your garden or Christmas morning with your family. Emphasize the emotion instead of getting bogged down by the details."

By concentrating on the feelings you wish to experience, you allow the universe to handle the logistics. Francesca says, "We don’t need an elaborate plan to start creating our ideal lives. It's about recognizing those small moments in our busy lives and using them intentionally."
